Hemel Hempstead Belated Easter Sunday Blazing Blues

The white bridge by skate park and the free car park off Gadebridge Lane adjacent to Leighton Buzzard road. Please note this post code is for the flats on Gadebridge lane on the opposite side to the car park. This ride will follow the first half of the Hemel Hill buster 60k route, so a good chance to get some practice in if your thinking about entering this sportive in April. Graceful Greens rides will average between 15 -20 miles at a gentle pace of 7-10mph. Blazing Blues rides will average between 20-25 miles at steady pace between 10-12mph. We ride at the pace of the slowest rider and always wait at the top of hills so no one gets left behind. We usually stop for coffee halfway depending on the route, so come and join us for a monthly get together. Please remember to check your bike is in good working order, gears and brakes all working, and tyres pumped up. Don't forget to bring a spare inner tube and tools to fix a puncture should you be unlucky enough to get one. Don't worry there's enough of us to help you out should you be the unfortunate one. My rides are weather dependent, if I feel it's raining too hard, too cold/miserable/icy/snowy/windy etc then I will cancel, for your safety as well as enjoyment of the ride.
