Leaving Parklands Hotel & Country Club we head south on the Cycle path and turn left at the petrol station to head for Eaglesham. Once we get past Eaglesham we're onto the quiet cycle route to Strathaven. After about 5 miles we turn off and take the Ardochrig Road climb. Once we get to the top, and recovered, it's a nice rolling road all the way to the Heron Farm Shop. Here we can have a well needed break for food and restroom break. After we've stuffed our faces, we take the same roads all the way back to Parklands Hotel.
