About the route
Starting point
Seaburn Metro car park, Alston Cres. Pick up at Teal Farm pub at 9:30 (NE38 8FH) at 9:30am.
We join cycle route at Stadium of Light & Head up to Consett via NCN7 stopping at Teal Farm pub (Pattinson Rd, Washington) to pick up more cyclists before heading up to Hownsgill cafe for refreshments.
Returning down the Derwent way to Blaydon before joining NCN14. We continue all the way to South Shields on this route before heading South into Sunderland. Cyclist from Washington then rejoin NCN7 to return to Teal Farm.
