Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

This is the 1st of a series of 4 rides where we will practice riding up and down hills, aiming to improve our confidence, increase our speed, and to dispel the fear of them.

In this session we will ride from the start point at the Secret to Singleton Park, where we will spend an hour practicing on cycle lanes within the hilly park.

At the end of the practice session, we will go for refreshments.

Please ensure that your bike is in good working order. Although not compulsory, you are strongly recommended to wear a helmet. Please bring any drink that you require when riding, and money for refreshments when we stop.

These sessions are intended to help build confidence on hills, and are particularly suitable for ladies that have not done much cycling recently, or that generally stick to flat routes, because of a fear of hills. We are a friendly bunch and particularly welcome newbies.
