Starting at Monyash, we head out on country lanes to Parsley Hay, soon passing through Crowdecote. Here, we enjoy wonderful vistas, and a long gentle descent into Sheen village, before eventually arriving at Hulme End. Crossing Ecton Bridge and passing through Swainsley Tunnel, we enter the stunning Manifold Valley.

Four miles into the valley, we find our café stop, Wetton Mill Tea Rooms, set in an idyllic location, by the River Manifold.

Afterward, we pass through the village of Wetton, then on to Alstonefield, eventually enjoying an exhilarating descent into the picture-postcard hamlet of Milldale. We leave, cycling alongside the many mini weirs on the River Dove, eventually reaching the Tissington Trail. We cycle for several miles on the trail, with wonderful far-reaching views, eventually arriving at Parsley Hay. It's then a short ride back into Monyash.

At Monyash, we have the option to visit Tagg Lane Dairy. Their homeade icecream is the best in Derbyshire!
