The route starts in Condicote and winds it's way through the beautiful, wooded Hinchwick valley. After Hinchwick we climb up Spring Hill (first challenging hill) before reaching Buckle Street. We then pass Broadway Tower and head towards Chipping Campden (splendid views from this road). We take a back road past Hidcote and Kiftgate's gardens. And enjoy a lovely descent before heading to Ilmington where there is a community cafe with homemade cakes. As soon as we leave the cafe we are presented with the next challenging hill, Foxcote, as we need to climb back up to the Cotswolds. However, you'll be rewarded with spectacular views as the road hugs the edge of the escarpment slope. Charingworth is the next village followed by Paxford and then Blockley and this will be the last challenging climb. We ride along the Sezincote road which provides splendid views of the Evenlode Valley before a wonderful descent back to the village.
There is approximately 2,400 feet of ascent.

This is a hilly ride with three category 4 climbs (Strava). Spring Hill, Foxcote Hill and Blockley Hill. This ride has many wonderful views so all the climbing will be rewarded.

Mostly quite country roads but with a short stretch on the A424, A44, B4035 and B4081. Then a longer stretch on B4479 through Blockley and Paxford.

Helmets are compulsory. Please bring a spare inner tube and dress for the weather.
