Historic Churches- All Saints Shorthampton

Meeting by Broadwell village green (near the bus stop). We head out past Daylesford to Kingham (please let me know if you wish to join here). Then we cycle through Churchill skirting past Sarsden. Down Cross's Lane to Chadlington. We go out down Horse Shoe lane (the name changes to Catsham Lane) to Shorthampton which is on our right down a dead end road. After our visit we then cycle on through Wychwood Forest to Leafield. we head back to Shipton- Under Wychwood, Then Milton and stop at the lovely Bruern Farm shop. From here is it s fairly flat route back via Kingham, Daylesford to Broadwell.

Historic churches. Over the course of the year some rides will stop at some interesting churches in the locality. We will spend about 5 minutes depending on the interest of the group. There is usually a collection box inside if you wish to use it.

All Saints is a box like church with three wall paintings. One of rushes and rippling water, one of a figure holding a staff and the third is the edge of a dragon's wing.

You are welcome to join at a different point. Please let me know before hand. This ride is about 460 metres or 1,470 feet of elevation.

This is a circular route

Roads- mostly quiet roads, although crossing some busier roads.

Helmets are compulsory. Please bring a spare inner tube and money for a stop.
