The route starts in Sherborne by the allotments. We cycle Through Sherborne, Windrush and Barrington. then cross the A40. Then we head toward Heythrop and Coln St Aldwyns. Next is Quennington and finally Fairford. We cross River Coln again (Mill Lane and come into the back of Fairford. St Mary's church is situated near the Square. We can look around the church fiorst and then have a coffee in the Post Office or one of the other cafes. After this we head back to Sherborne by retracing our steps to Coln St Aldwyns but then take the road to Aldsworth go past Lodge Park and back to Sherborne. This ride has approximately 340 metres or 1,115 feet of elevation

Historic churches. Over the course of the year some rides will stop at some interesting churches in the locality. We will spend about 5 minutes depending on the interest of the group. There is usually a collection box inside if you wish to use it.

St Mary's, Fairford was built in about 1497 and has wonderful medieval stained glass windows- a complete set which were removed during WW2.

A circular route

The roads will be mostly quiet country roads. Crossing the A40 on the way with a very short distance on it on the way back.

Helmets are compulsory. Please bring a spare inner tube.
