Holbeach Hurn social cross country ride

We will head out from Holbeach Hurn and do a loop towards Gedney Drove End. Then up onto the Wash barrier wall and cycle through RAF Holbeach to the Holbeach outfall. We will then rejoin the roads and head back to Holbeach Hurn from here on nice quiet roads.

This route will take 2 -3 hours at a gentle pace with breaks.

A nice steady route around the fens near Holbeach Hurn, taking the barrier of the Wash with views over the North Norfolk coast and South Lincolnshire on a sunny day. Easily ride able on mountain bikes, cyclo cross, gravel and hybrid with off road tires. This route is not suitable for road bikes.

50% traffic free roads and 50% offroad rights of way.

We will stop at about 8 miles once on the sea bank and odd stops around as and when needed.

Helmet, jacket, spare inner tube for your size of wheel a drink and any snacks if you know that you need them.
