Leaving Deakins Mill we will cycle downhill into Bromley Cross Bolton through Bradshaw then a short incline to warm our legs as we head Bury and Radcliffe on a variety of minor and a couple of major roads taking us through into Heywood along the Harry Hill Cycle Way... this is the1936 Olympian not the comedian .
Our stop is The Tree House Cafe at Hopwood Park Heywood. Fully rested and refreshed we head back through Heywood and onto the newly implemented cycle infrastructure in Bury town centre, then we cycle back to Bolton on mostly traffic free cycle paths.

Please ensure bikes are in good working order. On this ride helmets are essential anyone not wearing one will be unable to join the ride .
Please make sure you have a spare inner tube tyre leavers and pump.
A lock is advisable and a little cash for the cafe. This Lancashire Lasses and Lads ride is open for anyone to join.
