Howards lumpy loop

We leave Longridge and go out on the road to Clitheroe, via the twin villages of knowel Green and Hurts Green, turning left just before the Edisford Bridge pub. We will follow the Chipping signs over the higher Hodder Bridge, and climb up to Walker Fold, and Chaigley. This is a lovely, quiet and picturesque ride to Chipping where a mandatory cake stop will be strictly adhered to. The ride back the Longridge from Chipping is relatively flat and makes a nice end to what can be a challenging ride.
