Starting point

Perthshire
KY13 9XH

A triangular route starting in Milnathort. we will head out of the village turning towards Glenfarg on the Hattonburn Road. We will wind our way up towards Netherton over a series of ramps which have gradients that are not too steep but may feel quite testing at times.. once the ‘hilly’ section is complete, we will enjoy our lovely downhill over the motorway towards Mawcarse. Depending on how everyone is feeling we can either head back to Milnathort via Arlary or we can extend the ride up to Loch Leven’s Larder and back to Milnathort via the Main Road which will be quiet at this time in the evening.

A triangular route starting from Milnathort. The route begins with an uphill section over the foothills of the Ochils. The gradients are reasonably gradual and this will serve as a good introduction to tackling routes that are not flat. We should have some lovely views and a fun downhill section which we will enjoy after our efforts cycling towards Netherton and beyond.

All tarmac, generally quiet country roads.

No stops planned other than for riders to have their own drinks and snacks.

Helmets are strongly recommended. Riders should bring any drinks and snacks they want for themselves and wear layers as the evenings can get quite cool. Please bring a waterproof if the forecast is for rain. Eye protection is recommended at this time of year. Riders should ensure that their bikes are in good working order and please bring front and rear working lights if you have them, fully charged. Bright clothing is helpful. If you’re riding an e-bike, please make sure you have sufficient charge in your battery. Please bring any tools that are specific to your bike and an innertube to fit your tyres as well as a means of inflating your tyres.

We never leave anyone behind
