This is a variation of the old Fat Lad at the Back sportive route which was 50 miles, but we are shortening it by cutting out the Kettlwell and Arncliffe loop. We make this 38 miles by looping back at Conison / Kilnsey.
The routes takes us from Ilkley to Bolton Abbey and along the back road to Appletree wick, Hebden and Grassington. From Grassington we will take another stunning back road towards Kettlwell, before heading back via Coniston / Kilnsey, Threshfield and Burnsall.
