This Sandiacre Social Saunters ride is open for anyone to join

Organized by groups in the community, these rides are a great way to meet new people, explore your local area and to have fun riding your bike. You can find rides that are suitable for your level of experience and interests whilst enjoying being part of a social cycling community.

A change of plan, we will be riding over to the Ilkeston Cycling Club cyclo cross meeting at Shipley Park. Cakes will be on offer and an option to do some scrumping for apples, so leave room in your bags!

No set route

Canal towpaths and cycle tracks,with some quiet roads to join them up.

A cafe/ toilet stop around half way. Plenty of time to stop for photos and chat.

As always I would advise wearing a cycle helmet. Puncture repair kit and tools. Suitable clothing for the weather on the day. A drink and snacks,or money to buy stuff at the cafe.

We especially welcome newbies!
