Introductory and Confidence Building Ride

Starting from - Car park at rear of Graystones Café and Deli on St Peter’s Street, Duxford or on the road nearby. Please remember your cycle helmet, spare inner tube, pump, water to drink on the ride and money for refreshments at the end.
Due to Covid precautions please bring your own PPE (mask, sterile gloves and alcohol hand gel – we are unable to share any PPE or cycling equipment with you) in case of an emergency. If you, or any of your household, are feeling unwell in any way, particularly if you have a temperature or cough, please do not attend the ride.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time so that we can do our safety checks and go through the route. It is important that you check that your bike is fully roadworthy, good brakes, gears that work and tyres that are pumped to the correct pressure – thanks

Free, women-only bike rides led by experienced Breeze Champions. They are a great way to get started in cycling or to improve your skills, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist.

We will be mainly on minor roads and country lanes. The ride will be at a relaxed pace as we never leave anyone behind. Following Government and British Cycling guidelines we will cycle either in single file with a distance of 2 metres between us or side by side with a 1 metre gap between us, this will depend on the confidence of the riders . There will be short stops for water along the route. We will grab a coffee and have a chat at the end of the ride in the Graystones garden.
