Come and join in on a leisurely family-friendly cycle through Sankey Valley Park towards Earlstown and back along a flat traffic-free cycle route. This ride is particularly recommended for anyone who is new to Guided Rides and is looking to explore their local area by bike.

We start at the Sankey Valley car park, just off Cromwell Avenue, heading up along the cycle path beside the Sankey Canal. There’s often plenty of wildlife to keep an eye out for as we follow this corridor of green through Warrington. Leaving Warrington, we pass beneath the M62 and continue along the cycle path up to the Sankey Viaduct.

After a short rest halfway beneath the viaduct for a drink and snack we re-trace our route back through Sankey Valley Park to where we started.

This is a lovely < 10 mile route suitable for all ages and abilities.

To stay safe around Covid-19 the group is limited to 4 participants with 2 ride leaders. We will be socially distancing outdoors by meeting and cycling at least 1m apart from members of other households and in single file. Please respect other people’s space and join only if you are feeling well and are not self-isolating.

More details on what to bring will be sent out in the pre-ride email.
