The Boat House Cafe Bartons Point Minster Isle of Sheppey Kent

This route is suitable for mountain and hybrid bikes with wider tyres. The route involves three set of steps so you will need to lift your bike up and over. Help will be on hand if needed so please dont worry. We will be following the costal route so a cycle helmet is required as I pride myself on "safety first". On the day think weather, we are in November so the weather could be cold. You will need warm clothing, suitable flat footwear, gloves and water proofs if it looks like rain. I always ride with a cosy neck scarf to keep me warm. I also recommend cycle glasses (protective eye wear) as we may get some sunshine or the odd stray bug, I have both clear and tinted ones. I also request that you bring a spare inner tube (for your bike) and please check your bike before you attend to make sure its suitable and safe for the ride. We will all complete a safety check together before we set off. We will be meeting at the cafe which serve hot and cold food and ive been told that they also do a lovely roast on a Sunday if you fancy a hot meal on your return (dont forget bike lock if your stopping and some cash for your cuppa). I will be at the cafe early having a cuppa so if you want to come before 1100 it will be great to meet you and we can discuss any concerns you have before we set off. We ride as a group and we will all stay together. Rachael and I really look forward to meeting you all on our first Breeze Any questions please email me at [email protected]
