Italians In London

Italians have been coming to London since Roman times; to build a new life, or at time of political turmoil. Many of us love Italian food, but did you know that Italians were early City bankers: or that an Italian woman ran three London Theatres? We will discover some of the places Italians lived and worked around central London. The ride starts at Baker Street station and ends at Aldgate Station, from which you can get the Metropolitan line back to Amersham (or other line) or join me onwards to Hyde Park to visit the Italian Gardens and return to Baker Street station for our onward journey.

Please bring a lock as we will park the bicycles at a bike racks some distance from our cafe stop at Bar Italia.
