Jersey Girls

This is a steady progression ride great for new riders wanting to improve.
Leaving the park behind us we head off onto the paths and trails of the surrounding areas of Bolton and Bury. Soon to arrive at the Manchester, Bolton and Bury canal where will meander along the towpath. Using the under-pass in Bury we will cycle along the trails to Jersey Girls Ice Cream Parlour Park We will return via the same room route back to the park.

Don't say no until you've had a go!

Please ensure your bike is in good working condition. Check your gears and brakes at least the night before.

We request that everyone wears a helmet for safety anyone not wearing a helmet will be unable to join us on the ride. Spare inner tubes, tyre levers, pump, a lock and some cash for the cafe stop would be advisable.

Due to Covid, It is essential that all ride participants’ carry their own PPE that is mask, hand
gel and tissues. The leaders will carry first aid consumables but you will have to apply yourself. The same applies for any punctures or bike maintenance guidance will be offered at a safe distance

This ride is along the road free trails and canal but there are couple of minor roads and junctions to manage. We will tackle these together.
