A delightful route for all beginning and ending at Rother Valley Country Park and riding along the former railway line that is now known as the Trans Pennine Trail and the canal towpath along the Cuckoo Way. See the local wildlife and picturesque waterways of South Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

The route is along the traffic-free bridleway and is suitable for hybrid bikes with off-road tyres, CX and gravel bikes as well as mountain bikes. Not suitable for road bikes with 28mm tyres or smaller.

Apart from some gentle slopes the route is mostly flat and smooth.

All riders must wear a helmet and follow the safety advice and guidance of our Guided Ride Leaders. Please bring a drink, a snack, a spare inner tube (preferably two, correctly sized for your bike) and money for any refreshments you wish to buy at the café - bring some cash as not all take debit/credit cards.
