Starting point

Somerset
BS31 1EG

The route starts in the centre of Keynsham and follows the A39 for a few hundred yards before turning onto quiet residential road and then into the countryside. We take rolling country roads through Stanton Prior, Marksbury, Priston, Combe Hay and Midford. We can stop at the Hope and Anchor for snacks and drinks before joining the Two Tunnels Greenway and then the Bristol Bath Railway Path to Bitton. From Bitton it's a short ride back to the start point in Keynsham.

Be prepared to tackle some hills on the way out to Midford. There will be some rewarding descents too. From Midford the route is gently descending and almost entirely on the cycle path.

Bring lights for the Two Tunnels if you have them. Don't forget your cycle helmet.
