King's Worthy to King's Somborne Community Cafe

All are welcome on the ride including first time riders and those with any experience. We will ride at a very steady pace as a group so that all can enjoy the ride.

We will meet at Worthies Sports and Social Club (Loader Close SO23 7NJ, parking available).

The route will take us from King's Worthy along Down Farm Lane towards Littleton and then out to Sparsholt. From there we will take the pretty route via Farley Mount to King's Somborne (approx 13 miles).

Refreshments will be at the King's Somborne Community Cafe. They do a very tasty cheese scone and some delicious looking cakes. If you fancy a sausage roll; they do those as well!

The return will be along the valley to Crawley and back into King's Worthy. Total distance of approximately 25 miles.

Any roadworthy bike will be suitable. Please check your bike to ensure it is roadworthy before the ride.

Please ensure you have a helmet and in case of a puncture the necessary bits and bobs to undertake a repair (inner tube or repair kit with tools and pump). Assistance, however, can be provided if needed. Please bring some water and a snack, just in case. Please also have suitable clothes for weather conditions.

Support will be provided whenever appropriate to ensure that all have an enjoyable time.
