Meeting in the middle of Laira Bridge half way across the river Plym this route is a mix of cycle track, country lane and some wide main road. We heading off on the south side of Saltram National Park to Stags Lodge, connect with Colesdown Hill and then onto the specified cycle lane to Elburton Roundabout. Taking the quiet Vinery Lane and crossing Sherford Estate, past Plants Galore ending up at Langage. A short bit of main road here (needs must) and then country lanes to Sparkwell - may even look at Dartmoor Wildlife Park and marvel at how easy it was to get there. All downhill to Chaplins for coffee before heading back via Saltram to Laira Bridge. Permission granted If you need to leave the ride at Plympton.
