Starting in the car park of the Brewhouse & Kitchen on the embankment (Trent Bridge). A steady stroll along the embankment through a small section of the meadows along bird cage walk, out near the Warhammer games work shop and over the junction at Dunkirk near to the QMC. We will pick up part of route 6 leading through to the Lakeside Arts centre into Highfields, a small loop of the lake before heading out over the path on queens road. Once over the other side we will take the bridge towards the boots site towards the canal. Here we will travel about a mile or so towards the Beeston Weir, stopping for a break either at the Canal Heritage Centre or Tony's Cafe.
For the return route back we will use the big track along the trent river and head back down the embankment to the starting point.

Steady Breeze ride starting from the Lakeside at Lenton
