This route includes quiet lanes and bridleways.

The ride begins at Laughton en le Morthen Village Hall and follows quiet lanes to the Old Mineral Line Trail at Thurcroft. From here we follow National Cycle Route 674 and cross the famous Lindrick Golf Course, along bridleways to join the Chesterfield Canal and on to Shireoaks. On the return leg we follow lanes to picturesque Turner Wood on the Chesterfield Canal. After a coffee we retrace our route across the golf course then meander through the villages of Woodsetts, Gildingwells, Letwell and Firbeck, where we join Firbeck Lane, beloved of road cyclists returning home. We follow this classic route back to Laughton village
