L&D Hospital Carpark to Dunstable, Houghton Park Hall, Houghton Regis, Woodside Link Loop

A confidence building easy ride to help you Spring into Summer for L&D staff. A ride packed full of countryside sights and scenery.

We will be starting from the L&D Hospital, travel along the busway towards Dunstable and then towards Houghton Park Hall. Houghton Hall Park Great place to walk and cycle with amazing views. Located in the heart of Houghton Regis, Houghton Hall Park is a hidden gem because the park has undergone an impressive transformation, unlocking 42 acres of parkland, woodland. We will briefly explore parts with a view of expanding our tour on another occasion.

From Houghton Hall Park, we will travel further into Houghton Regis with more quiet roads, views and plenty cycle tracks. The Woodside Link road with its various cycle tracks will take up back into Houghton Regis and our journey ends with a short trip through Lewsey back to the Hospital.

This a great a great route with plenty of scope to expand our journey if we so wish. For now it’s a short approximate of 10 mile.

Again, because it will be an easy-going sociable ride, we will go at the pace of the slowest rider. The full route follows should be circular if were not tempted to explore areas further.

So Thursday? See you there!
