This L&D Hospital Social Rides ride is open for anyone to join

Led by experienced ride leaders, these rides are a great way to explore new places and to meet new people who enjoy cycling. They are suitable for all levels of experience, so whether you are a beginner or a seasoned cyclist, you can find a ride that is right for you.

Group Ride from L&D Hospital (Group Ride Following the River Lea via Hockwell Ring, Limbury Meads, New Bedford Road, Warden Park and Luton Busyway).

You'll start from our L&D Hospital and follow the cycle paths and quiet roads towards Hockwell Ring into Limbury Meads, the stretch of land along the River Lea. Were tracing the River Lea heading towards, New Bedford Road, Warden Park and Luton Busyway. You'll see some lovely views along the way and get some fresh air and exercise.

This ride is suitable for all levels of cyclists, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned rider. It's just enough to get your heart pumping and your muscles working. You'll also have plenty of opportunities to stop and rest, chat with other riders, and take some photos.

Now for the Covid bit….
Although Covid restrictions have been lifted we are asking all riders to be respectful to the other riders. Please do not attend if you have Covid symptoms.

Please remember to bring with you
- Helmet
-Spare inner tubes for your bike and appropriate tools, even if you don't know how to change an inner tube there are other people in the group to help.
-A water bottle with a drink in, cycling can be thirsty work.
- Appropriate clothing for the weather.
