Starting point

Hertfordshire
SG14 1SN

Following the river Lea/Lea navigation all the way from Hertford past the Olympic Park then the Limehouse cut. From Limehouse basin we will use the blue routes/cycle super highways/segregated cycle lanes past Tower hill along the embankment then through Horseguards to Buck Palace then Hyde Park to Paddington via Tryburnia. Some may wish to shorten their journey down the Lea valley as the train line runs roughly parallel to the route or join closer to their homes that's fine just drop me a message and I will look out for you/say goodbye at those points.

A nice gentle paced social ride suitable for all types of bikes and riders

Mostly towpath with a few sections of road then when we get to Limehouse supercycle highways C3 and C55

Not going to "plan" stops will just make it up on the day dependant on weather and size/make up of group.

A puncture repair kit/spare tube would be good. Drinks and pocket snacks for on the bike as wellas money/card to buy stuff at the stops

First-timers welcome!
