Starting point

Hertfordshire
WD5 0GU

This challenging ride route goes out from the cycle hub to Hunton Bridge, Chandlers Cross, Sarratt and Belsize and the continues to Hemel Hempstead. The ride then heads to Picotts End and follows part of the Chiltern Cycleway to head to the stopping point at ‘The Hub’ café in Redbourn.
The ride then returns along Redbourn Road towards St Albans and continues through the country lanes to Potters Crouch and Bedmond to complete the route back to the cycle hub through Abbots Langley.

Please consider the weather and wear clothing to suit the conditions, and also a hi-vis top and gloves are recommended. Please bring lights for you bike and two spare inner tubes - as changing an inner tube is faster than getting out the rubber glue if punctures happen. The Ride Leaders can help if anyone in the group has a puncture on the day. Leavesden Cycle Hub sell inner tubes from £4 new, or recycled ones for 50p patched, £1 with no patches, should you need to purchase one.

Please check your bike is in good working order before the ride - especially that your brakes are working & your tyres are pumped to the correct pressure.

We are Not-For-Profit, do free bike assessments and should your bike need a tune up or a full service, we'll give you an honest price.

We look forward to riding with you. :)
