Starting in Crossgates, and a brief road ride down Nanny Goat Lane which takes us to Garforth,, a short meander through quiet back streets will take us onto the "Linesway", it's a disused fly line that was used by the coal board to transport coal, since redundant it is now a purpose made cycle track, but shared with pedestrians, dog walkers etc , we then pop out at Allerton Bywater, cross over a road and back on, then down to the Lowther Lakes, the River Aire and the St Aidens nature Reserve, this takes us, via a couple of miles of canal towpath to Woodlesford, then up Bullerthorpe Lane, then the old tip road, through Temple Newsham ( where we could stop for drinks if anyone wants one as we are about 2 mile from home ) then back home.
