Knighton Park

This 18 mile route explores the quiet country lanes to the south of Leicester. Starting and finishing in the beautiful 78 acre Knighton Park. The route leaves the urban area of Leicester through Wigston to follow an anti-clockwise loop encompassing the villages of Newton Harcourt, Great Glen, Burton Overy and King's Norton, before following the old Roman Road through Little and Great Stretton back to Leicester. It's advisable to bring your own food on the ride for an idyllic picnic lunch (weather permitting) in lovely King's Norton.
