Leisurely Loop of Lapworth

A leisurely ride, of approximately 8 miles, taking a gentle and steady circular route out towards the local countryside of Lapworth, before returning to Dorridge. This ride will involve a mix of roads, mainly side roads,quiet lanes, with a brief time spent on main roads.

Riding at 8-10 miles per hour, this ride is suitable for ladies who are confident riders on the road, looking to return to cycling or increase distance for fitness and pleasure. The route is suitable for road, hybrid or mountain bikes.

Please meet outside Costa Coffee in Dorridge, at 10.15am to ensure a prompt 10.30am start. If you are travelling to the start by car, there is free 2 hour parking at the Sainsbury's car park, behind Costa Coffee. Alternatively limited free on road parking may be available for 2 hours on Forest Road, turning left immediately before Costa Coffee.

There is a local railway station in Dorridge with regular trains connecting to and from Leamington Spa, Birmingham Snow Hill and beyond.

There will be an opportunity for those that want to enjoy a drink post ride at Costa Coffee. Please bring a spare inner tube, some change for coffee/cake and ensure your bike is fully maintained for riding. We do hope you will join us on this popular ride through beautiful countryside.
