Saturday 4th May 2019 9:45am

Starting from - Meet at 9.30 at the Bridge Street Sports Centre off the Richards Castle Road ready for a 9.45am start.

Before we start we'll run through a basic bike check and check everyone's feeling comfortable on their bikes. We will be riding as a group so will stick together, leaving noone behind and being a safer group for cars to pass.

Let's hope it's a bright Spring day but it'd be a good idea to bring a waterproof/gloves/thin extra layer if chilly. A helmet is advisable but Lycra is not needed! Just clothes you feel comfortable wearing when out on a bike, preferably something bright to make us visible on the roads. If you've a spare inner tube or puncture kit and pump, it's a good idea to bring it along - just in case.

Leaving Leominster we will pick up a quiet lane to Eyton and along the Lugg Valley, going round to Kingsland to Eardisland to the popular cafe, Rita's', for a coffee, then circling through Dilwyn to return to Leominster. It's a scenic route with lovely views of the surrounding hills and countryside, through some of Herefordshire's rich orchards, which are starting to come into blossom.

It's a gentle route with just some gentle undulations which we'll tackle at a leisurely pace, no one will be left behind - A great start to the Easter weekend.
