There are a few hill on the guided bus route, but of course you are rewarded by going down the other side.
The route is 99.5% off road. I have traveled this route many times with group rides and it is always well received

After a long break, I'm returning to organise a social ride all off road to Leigh and back.

Traffic free and a very enjoyable route using the designated cycle route 55 and guided bus route to Leigh, then joining the tow path along the canal all the way back to Monton.

We can add a stop once we reach Leigh as there is a Tesco not far from the bus track. So toilets and a drink can be sorted.

Helmets are strongly advised. Some money/card for any refreshments. Bring a drink and snack if you want too.
