Scotland has a landscape that enchants and that you can also live on a bicycle, going around the forests, following a winding coastal path or the course of a stream in the moorland. Experiences to be tried by being inspired by these places immersed in nature, pedalling while the wind messes up your hair, along a series of well signposted and structured routes.

3 ENCHANTING ITINERARIES
Routes for all tastes, for all 'legs' and above all with a variety of landscapes ranging from the sandy coasts to the city streets of Edinburgh, but also the hill and the wild moorland of Shetland or along glittering beaches and loch to the ancient and scenic abbeys of the Scottish Borders.

HEBRIDEAN WAY
A demanding route, especially for its total length, 297 km, obviously to be planned in several stages (with time..). The Outer Hebrides are enchanting and this route starts from the National Network Route 780 (starting point Vatersay, arrival Butt of Lewis) to cover the entire length of the enchanting chain of Hebrides. Outside. Along the way you can cross heavenly beaches, the megalithic Calanais Standing Stones, an impressive complex of almost 50 megaliths, dating back to about 3000 BC, and the lighthouse of Butt of Lewis. The estimated time is six days, but even shorter stages can be planned.

FROM THE CENTRE OF EDINBURGH TO THE SHORE
The Scottish capital offers a wide choice of traffic-free cycle paths that have been built using the old railway lines. This route is really very simple and very short (2.9 km), so that the alternative is to take a nice walk. The starting point is Scotland Street, while the arrival is Sandport Place, estimated time 10 minutes. Booking a dayroom with daybreakhotel will allow you to freshen up after the cycling.

THE 4 ABBEYS
This is certainly the most challenging route. 88.51 km for a total time ranging from 5 to 6 hours. You can visit all 4 famous abbeys of the Scottish Borders (Melrose, Dryburgh, Kelso and Jedburgh). A highly scenic route, through the beautiful countryside, that runs through mostly quiet roads, although some stretches of roads travelled by cars are inevitable. The advice is to split this excursion, which can be done clockwise, but also counterclockwise, stopping a day in each of the four places
