Let's Ride - Pedals & Picnics

This 11 mile ride is perfect for families looking to explore NW Leicestershire in an almost traffic free environment. Taking in public bridalways, old railway lines, and canal towpaths the route takes a peaceful meander through the countryside.

Most bikes will be suitable for the route, however super skinny road tyres are not recommended.

There are plenty of interesting things to see along the route with plenty of time for photos and drinks if required.

Please ensure that all minors wear a suitable helmet. Also bring a spare inner tube, puncture repair kit, suitable clothing for the days weather, and any food you wish to eat at the half way point.
