This new 22 mile route out to the Malt Kiln Farm Shop at Stretton-under-Fosse is mainly on-road with short sections of traffic-free riding along the canal towpath. Refreshments at the farm shop are once again provided free of charge thanks to our friends at the Canal and River Trust. This is listed as a 'challenging' ride due to a few short, sharp climbs along the way; however we'll stop to rest weary legs if we need to and be assured we never leave anyone behind. We'll ride at a pace to suit everyone.
Please note this route starts and finishes at the Decathlon store at Arena Shopping park NOT the canal basin as in previous rides. Our route takes us out to the countryside to the north east of Coventry passing through Shilton, Withybrook and Ansty.
You'll need to bring a spare inner tube and pump in case of a puncture, and a bike lock for our cafe stop.
