Enjoy a sail across Lake Windermere on the unique Bike Boat as part of this ride led by British Cycling-trained leaders. Starting from Brockhole Visitor Centre, we head across Windermere to access the peaceful western shore and follow a traffic-free trail to Wray Castle.
From there quiet lanes take you to the historic village of Hawkshead and onward to Near Sawrey, the location of Beatrix Potter's home, Hill Top Farm. After an opportunity for refreshments, the route then descends to the shores of Windermere for a ride back along the new cycle trail and the return boat trip.
Don't worry if you don't have your own bikes with you. We are providing hire bikes free of charge (subject to availability). These must be reserved when you book your place on the ride. To reserve a bike(s) please contact Brockhole Lakeshore team on 07919 881 622. Please have details of your height.
