Organized by groups in the community, these rides are a great way to meet new people, explore your local area and to have fun riding your bike. You can find rides that are suitable for your level of experience and interests whilst enjoying being part of a social cycling community.

Asda, Nature Reserve, Graffitti bridge and follow the Reivers Route to Ponteland where we'll stop for a scone at Jan's Kitchen. We'll return via the Airport, Bank Foot and Great Park. Other Metro Stations are available.

Please let me know if you'd prefer to join at Gosforth Nature Reserve (at 9:41), or Weetslade (at 10:06).

Although most of the ride is on wagonways and cycle/shared paths, there will be some stretches of road. Remember that it's winter/spring/summer/autumn and there will be mud!

Please be prepared to fix any mechanical issues you may have, and especially punctures (a spare inner tube is *much* better than a repair kit). That said, there will be plenty of help if you do have issues.
