This is a very short ride just to link from Event Island in Stevenage Town Centre to Stevenage Cycling Hub at Fairlands. We will arrive in good time for mince pies and hot chocolate ready to join the Cycling UK Stevenage Christmas Lights Ride.

The Christmas Lights ride itself finishes at Town Square - very close to Event Island.
For those coming to Stevenage by train:
On arrival at Stevenage, take the lift up from the platform.
Coming out of the lift turn right and walk towards Town Centre.
Continue straight over the footbridge across the dual carriageway.
Walk through the covered area which is decorated with photos of famous Stevenage residents past and present.
Continue straight down the ramp then continue straight on until you get to the front of the Mecca bingo building.
We will gather there on the edge of the big plaza area - Event Island.
There are public toilets nearby as required.
