Liverpool Castle

Mixed bag this one, will be using towpaths, cycle trails and quiet roads. Some nice climbs, although nothing too strenuous, and some nice off-road sections. Coffee stop will probably be in Rivington at one of the Barns, or in the Tea Rooms. Look forward to seeing you all on the day! We'll aim to ride at a steady pace of between 10 mph on this particular one, (may even be a bit slower depending on ground conditions) that way we can all stay together, enjoy the scenery and most importantly, have a natter on the way round, it does help take your mind off the climbing! Please try to arrive at least 15 mins before the ride is due to set off, not very pleasant hanging about, not at this time of the year anyway. Try and bring along a couple of spare tubes to suit your particular wheel size and do check your bike over before setting out, tyres inflated, all nuts & bolts tightened, chain lubricated, etc. Easier to do it at home than find out there's problem when you get to the start.
