liverpool - wigan - parbold - liverpool circular

Down East Lancs, left at Car Mill, follow road to right. If weather has been nice, a small detour only a few km down upholland road then down Crank Hill (can you beat 100kph?) then loop back around on to the A571 - wigan road and just follow through. Will pass through wigan town centre and a very small pedestrian area (about 100 metres). Continuing on towards Parbold with great views and a great descent. The road leads through to the A59 passing by Ormskirk and Maghull **IMPORTANT** busy roads and very fast descents, especially crank, so confidence on the road and helmets are a must. We will be cycling on the East Lancs for about 12KM and the A59 part passes through Switch Island junction.
