Car Park at entrance to HMP Forest Bank Prison, Livia, Forest Bank off Agecroft Road, Pendlbury, Manchester, Salford, Greater Manchester, M27 8FB
A glorious mainly off road route takes us from Livia Park in Salford to Leverhulme Park in Bolton on paths used on four extremely popular SkyRide local rides including all of the "Melody of Mud"
The route passes through Clifton and Moses Gate country parks along the River Irwell,the Manchester, Bolton and Bury canal system before a refreshment stop at Leverhulme park. We return via Clammerclough and the picturesque villiage of Ringley followed by a circuit of Clifton Marina.
