A favourite route to Loch Lomond, Starting out from Bishopbriggs Leisuredrome which has ample parking facilities. We warm up along the Canal for the first mile before heading onto the road to Torrance. From there it is over the hill to join The Strathkelvin Railway which we Follow for around 6 Miles up to Strathblane. Quck pitstop for a drink and catch of breath. before we head out onto the A81and a nice easy 5 miles to Dumgoyne, here we hang a left into the hill leading uptown the Famous "Devils Pulpit" on onto Croftamie. Here we pick up the Beautiful Back roads approximately 9 miles towards Balloch. Time for refreshments and toilets here. Then we take the Gentle route back following the riverside into Dumbarton. then joining the Forth and Clyde canal at Bowling. This route brings us all the way back to Bishop Briggs Leisuredrome.
