Locks and Lubenham

Heading out of Great Bowden, we'll cycle past the prison. No stopping there (!) but it can be windy along that road. We then turn left and go over the canal just by Foxton locks keeping on quiet country lanes. After crossing over the canal again we head downhill into Lubenham. At Lubenham we'll cross the main road and take the back lane to East Farndon before zooming down into Market Harborough.

A gentle evening ride to enjoy the countryside and unwind at the end of the day.

Once out of town, we'll be on quiet country lanes.

The plan is to stop for a drink and a chat at The Coach and Horses in Lubenham where there is a rather nice outdoor seating area.

Helmets must be worn. Please bring money to buy a drink

This ride is very suitable for novice riders and we never leave anyone behind.
