London Bridge loop, lots of river

A ride starting at London Bridge station, crossing Tower Bridge, and following the Thames downstream to the Isle of Dogs – Millwall Inner Dock, Mudchute Farm, Blackwall Reach – for a coffee break on Trinity Buoy Wharf. Then alongside the Royal Docks to ride the Beckton Corridor, a tree lined path that goes back to Royal Victoria Dock where we will catch the cycle shuttle, still free to use, under the Thames. On Greenwich Peninsula we will have another coffee break before riding the Thames Path and the C4 back to London Bridge for the East Croydon Train.

The ride totals 22 miles. Meet outside the Tooley Street exit of London Bridge station opposite Leon and Ole & Steen at 10:40. There are a couple of earlier trains missing from the timetable that Sunday. It’s the 10:20 from East Croydon that arrives at 10:35 if on time.

Road bikes to mountain bikes can ride this route and it’s flat. Please bring a spare inner tube.
