Longsleddale Valley

After leaving Kendal we head for Garnett Bridge and then follow the road up the beautiful valley to Sadgill. We then retrace the route to Garnett Bridge before heading towards Staveley.

This is a gentle ride up the valley to Sadgill, with undulations before and after. Wonderful views along the way.

We will be riding mainly on quiet country roads.

There are wonderful views along the way which we will stop and admire. There is a community toilet halfway up Longsleddale, we can stop here for a rest and refreshments or continue to Staveley, where there are several cafes.

Helmets, waterproof clothing, drinks bottle, snacks and spare inner tubes are advisable. Please bring money if you wish to buy refreshments in Staveley.
