A flat ride along the TPT to Widnes. Then once on the Runcorn side a moderately uphill section to the cafe stop. After drinks/food our return is a pleasant descent to lower Runcorn, where we pick up the beautiful scenery of the Bridgewater Canal, passing through Norton Priory.
We then cross the canal and roll down through Sandymoor, toward Moore and contour the village of trails that bring out on the Manchester Ship Canal, where scenes from the Hollywood film 'Yanks' was shot! After crossing Moore Lane Swing Bridge we head through Acton Grange towards the TPT. Once over Arpley Meadow and Liverpool Road we return through Sankey Valley part to our original start point in Bewsey.
