Guided bike ride from Loughborough along the National Cycle Route no.6, the Garendon Trail, to Shepshed. Ride will be steady at a pace to suit all ages. Features a break inside at Shepshed High School where we'll serve hot drinks, you can have a sit down, and toilets will be available (but please bring your own snacks). Majority of the ride is on traffic-free trails, with a few short-stretches on quiet road. Accompanying the group will be ride leaders to help the group to negotiate junctions and to keep the ride flowing as far as possible. During the February holiday activiies programme from Monday 17th to Friday 21st there are a range of sport and leisure activities for 5 - 16 year olds. For this ride we request that those under the age of 5 must be in a BSA approved child-seat, trailer or tag-a-long and helmets are worn by all under 18's. We recommend that you bring a waterproof. The route is genereally on good surface, but there are likely to be puddles along the way.
