Ride at lunchtime in Stevenage

This is a short lunchtime ride to get out and about discovering the cycleway network across Stevenage. We will find the hidden green spaces and look out for signs of Spring.

The route will mostly use cycle paths with a few quiet link roads. We often use the parts of the network that were once the lanes linking villages long before the Stevenage New Town was built.

Any roadworthy cycle will be suitable, this is not a fast ride and normal clothes and footwear will be fine. Bring a drink and snack if you wish and an extra layer or waterproof according to the forecast.

If you are a member of HCC staff bringing your own cycle to work for the first time, you can either arrange access to the secure staff cycle parking in advance or use the visitor parking in the staff car park.
